I support the Canada Post workers and their labour action against cuts to this public service. I remember when Harper cut the food mail program for remote communities, it was devastating, and food prices have never recovered.
Canada Post is an essential public service, and Canada Post's union workers are the only ones protecting Canadians from further cuts.
Conservatives offer only cuts, while Liberals do the same but call it ‘austerity.’ It is time we demand a government that fully understands the devastating economic impact of cutting public services.

I’d love to, but before we go giving double digit increases to posties, we need to restructure the organization so it isn’t losing so much money. It’s our money being lost and it’s our money needed for increases.
